(EDINA, Minn., May 26, 2009) — Today Worry-Free Vacations® announced that it has updated its popular Travel Protection Plans, which will now offer travelers job loss protection with cash back options.

Customers can now purchase the Travel Protection Plan or Travel Protection Plan PLUS with an included job loss provision. This new benefit is being added to the program at no additional cost for the Travel Protection Plan and can be secured with just a deposit.

For those purchasing TPP, coverage against job loss includes cash-back protection for the traveler and those on the booking who are an immediate family member or companion staying in the same room. It also includes a voucher option for other travelers on the same booking. That way, if one person loses their job, the rest of the party will not be forced to travel without that person or lose money. 

In order to be reimbursed under the job loss provision, the involuntary job termination must occur 30 days or more after the purchase of a Travel Protection Plan. Also, the same employer must have continuously employed the insured person for at least two years.
