Construction
- Year built: 1976
As of 8/21/09: Beginning September 10, 2009 Presidente Inter-Continental Cancun will begin renovation 194 rooms in the "low" or "Garden" tower of the resort. The renovations will have NO affect to any of the dining or entertaining services of the resort and the hotel will continue to operation at 100%. The renovation is expected to be completed in December 2009. As of August 24, 2010: Presidente Inter-Continental Cancun will be undergoing roof maintenance on the Caribeno Restaurant and the family swimming pool will be shut down for repair. The adult swimming pool will continue to be open and will now allow children until the family swimming pool renovation is complete. The renovation is expected to be complete by September 30, 2010.
