Updated 4/27/09: Elevator lobby remodel actually began on Apr 21. 3 elevators in each elevator bank will be taken out of each elevator bank during construction. Estimated remodel scheduled to take 6 weeks. All efforts will be made to minimize guest inconvenience.
The main pool waterfall and the area below the waterfall are closed until further notice. Area remodel expected to be complete by mid- May.
Updated 2/27/09: On Monday, March 2, 2009, work will begin on the final phase of the elevator remodel project. During this remodel, affected areas will be completely walled off, and noise and dust will be minimized. This project is expected to be complete by the end of May.
The large pool has re-opened. The pool and Jacuzzi hours of operation for the month of February are 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. daily. Additionally, the small pool is now closed for preventative maintenance. Information regarding the small pool reopening will be forthcoming. Along with the pool, the Paradise Café will begin breakfast/lunch service to hotel guests again on Saturday February 28, 2009.

Updated 12/1/08: Mirage Volcano scheduled to re-ignite with a new improved show on Dec 8 , 2008. Main pool will close for annual maintenance on Dec 1. Smaller pool will remain open with winter hours. Main pool will re-open date has not been set yet.
Updated 11/3/08: Paradise Cafe is now closed for the season. The Walk-Up Window will be available for our pool guests from 9am to 5pm. Cocktail chair service and the Dolphin Bar will remain open and available weather permitting.
BARE Pool Lounge is now closed for the season.
Effective Monday, November 3, 2008, the Cabanas will be closed for the season. The last day of operation will be Sunday, November 2, 2008. Information regarding re-opening dates will be provided at a later time.

Updated 8/27/08: The Deluxe and Tower Deluxe room renovation is now complete and all guests rooms have been remodeled. The Suite renovations are scheduled to begin in February 2009. The guest elevator foyer remodel is currently underway. All work areas are completely curtained off and there should be minimal disruption to guests accessing the elevators. The estimated completion time of this project is middle of september.
Updated 7/14/08: The walkway at the South Entrance is now open with upgraded sidewalk finishes.

Update 2/4/08: Mirage Volcano will undergo a renovation and upgrade. Volcano not scheduled to erupt from Feb 4 until sometime in late October 2008.

Update 1/15/08: Hotel will begin in February 2008, a stunning $110 million room and suite redesign. This striking new decor will offer luxury amenities to modern furnishings that will reflect an ambiance of contemporary upscale living.
Each Deluxe and Tower Deluxe room will showcase one of four color schemes. Each room will feature a pillow-top mattress, down comforter, feather pillows, 42-inch LCD television, iPod/MP3-compatible clock-radio, cordless phone and office chairs. Tucked away will be cotton robes, an iron, ironing board, hair dryer and private, in-room safe for added convenience. Nearby, a curving-wood console will feature dresser drawers and a fully stocked minibar on one end and a desk equipped with a lamp, dual phone lines and high-speed Internet access on the other. Guests will also enjoy a dedicated media hub that will allow computers, video iPod/MP3 players and game systems to be displayed on each rooms television. The whisper quiet door closures and an ultra-chic bathroom round off the oasis.
Tower Deluxe King and Tower Deluxe Queen accommodations will feature the same
amenities as their counterparts along with additional armoire storage in the
sleeping area and dual sinks, a well-lit vanity, relaxing spa tub and
separate walk-in shower in the bathroom.
The redesign is scheduled to take place from early February 2008 through August 2008 on all Deluxe and Tower Deluxe rooms, and from September 2008 through December 2008 on all Suites. During the remodel, The Mirage will do everything possible to ensure a tranquil environment for the guests.
Update 11/26/07: On Monday, November 26, 2007, the Main Pool in the pool complex will close for annual maintenance. The smaller pool in the pool complex will remain open at this time.
Update 10/11/07: Bare European Pool & Cabanas & Paradise Cafe will close for normal seasonal closure Oct 15. Will update with late Spring opening date when advised.
Update 7/25/07: Ceiling Treatment Installation - The Mirage Engineering department is currently installing new ceiling treatment in the Casino area. This ceiling treatment project is an ongoing project that will be installed in phases throughout the year.
