Pool: One rooftop pool and deck with 67,000 sq ft freeform pool on the 8th floor featuring large pooldeck with restaurant, bar, cabanas and jacuzzis. Pool is open seasonally based on the weather. Beach Club 25 pool is a European style "topless-optional" pool for adults 21 and older only located on 25th floor of the World Tower. Construction
Year built: 1996, 2001 Most recent renovations: 2006 - Sleeping rooms and casino area 3/13/09: Newly remodeled pool area and restaurant - Level 8 will open on March 16, 2009. Pool will have new pool deck with new pool furniture and Cabanas available for rent. Restaurant will have new and exciting food and beverage options. With this, the Beach Club 25 pool will temporarily close for seasonal maintenance on March 16. 12/19/08: Hotel has re-opened a temporary fitness center on the retail level. 12/8/08: Hotel is starting its transformation! Construction is set to begin on the pool area on the 8th floor on Monday, December 8, 2008. The pool as well as the fitness center will be closed to the public. The heated pool at Beach Club 25 which is located on the 25th floor of the hotel tower will be open to all of our hotel guests. During this time it will NOT be European-style. To improve the fitness center amenities, the fitness center will be relocated to the Retail Mall level at Stratospere. The estimated completion date for the new fitness center and pool area is March 2009. 11/10/08: Hotel is closing Roxy's Diner Dec 1-25, 2008. To coincide with this, Lucky's Cafe will be open 24/7 starting December 1, 2008. During this time Roxy's Menu will be offered in Lucky's Cafe. The 108 Snack Bar in the Tower is closed as of November 10, 2008 and will re-open on December 26, 2008. In doing this, we are announcing the opening of the "Liquid Courage" shot bar on level 109. Currently Liquid Courage is open from 5pm-12:30am nightly. 11/6/08: The Stratosphere Casino, Hotel and Tower is about to begin a transformation. Over the course of the next year, the hotel will be enhancing several areas of the property including guest rooms, pool areas, restaurants, and even the Tower itself. Some changes have already been made, such as brand new mattresses and bedding with triple sheeting in every room. The final outcome will be a fresher, more exciting Stratosphere. Hotel will take every precaution to ensure there will be as little disruption to guests and hotel operations as possible.
